Release notes
What changed in v0.1.1 and what the client packages contain.
v0.1.1 — 15 October 2026
Development preview. Compiled downloads are provided for Windows, Linux, and macOS on x64 and ARM64.
Changed
- Gemini tool attachment placeholders remain inside structured function responses after pruning and text-only fallback.
- Request preflight relocates misplaced nested text while preserving tool output, media, call IDs, and thought signatures. Ambiguous attachment structures return a local error.
- Release archives are organized by version, and Unix binaries retain executable permissions when packaged on Windows.
Website client packages
This website repackages the existing v0.1.1 executables into binary-only client archives. Engine executables are preserved byte-for-byte. Each archive contains the executable, GETTING_STARTED.txt, and THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt. It does not include engine source, internal audit reports, or developer source documentation. SHA-256 values are specific to these client archives.
v0.1.0 — first development release
Introduced provider adapters, persistent sessions, context management, retry/pause behavior, tools and external tool manifests, headless/terminal/browser interfaces, and the local control API.
Upgrade policy for the preview
Back up your home and workspace inputs before replacing the executable. Read the current limitations, verify the new checksum, and test your required workflow after updating. Preview interfaces and behavior may change in future releases.
